Reporting Claims of Copyright Infringement
TaskSouq, as a platform for freelancers and service buyers, respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on TaskSouq infringes your copyright or related exclusive rights, we have established the following process for reporting such claims.
To expedite the review of your copyright infringement claim, please submit a "Copyright Infringement Notice" that includes the following information:
- Identification of your copyrighted work and the specific aspects protected under your copyright(s).
- Details of your copyright, including whether it is registered or unregistered, and any relevant registration numbers or certificates.
- A concise explanation of how our users allegedly infringe your copyright(s).
- Clear references to the materials you believe are infringing, including Gig URLs or links to deliverables provided to users.
- Your full name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.
- A statement asserting that you have a good faith belief that the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are either the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Please send your Copyright Infringement Notice to our designated Copyright Claims Agent at the following address: admin@tasksouq.com
Note that TaskSouq will provide the user alleged to be infringing your copyright with information about the Notice and allow them to respond. In cases where sufficient proof of infringement is provided, TaskSouq may remove or suspend the reported materials before receiving the user's response. If the allegedly infringing user provides a valid counter-notification indicating their right to post the material, TaskSouq will notify you and may replace the removed or disabled material. All actions will be in accordance with applicable laws.
Failure to comply with the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) may render your DMCA Notice ineffective. Knowingly misrepresenting material or activity as infringing may result in liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
